Description: The Stout Economic and TEchnical Assistance Center (SETAC) was formed in 1986 with funding from the U.S. Dept. of Commerce Economic Development Administration, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin--Extension, and the University of Wisconsin--Stout. Its purpose was to utilize the resources of the Univercity of Wisconsin--Stout and the University of Wisconsin System to faster economic development in the state of Wisconsin. Due to funding difficulties, SETAC was discontinued in August of 1989.
